Our Role in the Project

UiT The Arctic University of Norway (Faculty of Bioscience, fisheries and economics) is participating across the project in most work packages. UIT´s work will include investigating the effects of multiple stressors on native and invasive species in WP1, mapping past and present changes in Arctic biodiversity and understanding pelagic and benthic processes in WP2, undertaking various tasks for traits-based modelling in WP3, and undertaking a number of tasks in WP4 including an analysis of governance regimes for fisheries, mapping fleet structures and dynamics, the use of traditional knowledge and the development of adaptation options with fishery stakeholders and Indigenous communities.
